Service
Shipstalker.com provides time-limited live video access to a telescope pointed at the Singapore Strait. Access is granted upon successful payment for the selected duration.

No guarantees
The service is provided strictly as-is. We make no guarantees of any kind — including but not limited to stream availability, image quality, uptime, or uninterrupted access. Visibility conditions, network interruptions, equipment maintenance, and other factors may affect the stream at any time without notice.

Payments
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By completing a purchase you agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not offer refunds for viewing time already granted.

Acceptable use
You may use the stream for personal, non-commercial viewing only. Recording, redistribution, or commercial use of the stream is prohibited.

Changes
We reserve the right to change prices, durations, or these terms at any time.

Privacy Policy

No user data stored
We do not create user accounts, collect names, e-mail addresses, or any other personal information. Once your viewing session ends, no record of your visit is retained by us.

No credit card data
We do not see, process, or store your credit card details. All payment information is handled exclusively by Stripe, Inc. under their own privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliance. We receive only a confirmation that a payment was made and the duration purchased.

Session tokens
A short-lived access token is generated when you pay. It is used solely to grant you access to the stream for your purchased duration and is automatically deleted when it expires.

Server logs
Our web server may retain standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) for up to 7 days for security and operational purposes. These are not shared with third parties.

Where can I get historic footage?

We archive selected recordings from the Singapore Strait. Historic footage is available on request — durations, dates, and licensing terms are negotiated individually. Contact us on Telegram with the date range and vessel details you're looking for.

What happens if the stream goes down during my session?

The stream is provided as-is with no uptime guarantee. Interruptions can occur due to weather, network conditions, or maintenance. We don't offer refunds for time lost to technical issues outside our control.

Can I watch on mobile?

Yes. The stream works in modern mobile browsers. For the best experience use the latest version of Safari (iOS) or Chrome (Android).

Is the feed truly live?

Yes — there is a short HLS buffer delay of a few seconds, but you are watching the Singapore Strait in real time.

What does it look like on a clear day?

On a clear day visibility is excellent — you can read vessel names and watch ships pass in fine detail.
